Escape! ..Almost

I was a pounce away from mastering escape from the house via their so called "locked" gate this afternoon. I had overheard Will talking about a 'one-way catflap' yesterday, so I got to work attacking the portcullis from the inside. I pawed and I pawed and I managed to unloop the hook and eye clasp that held the elastic over the gate cover. Then I lifted the wooden portcullis with my teeth and was ready to prance outside into freedom ..where Linus and Will were waiting.. they blocked the door from the outside. So I got to work and chewed the elastic until it came loose. Heh heh heh! But they came inside and reinforced the bloackade.. my escape will have to wait another day.
